CentriolesEvery animal cell has two centrioles. Centrioles have nine groups of three protein fibers, or microtubules, and when found together they are usually arranged at right angles to each other. Centrioles specialize in cell division. When the cell is not dividing they can't really be seen. They are in the centrosome of the cytoplasm. During division the centrioles will move to the poles of the nucleus. The mitotic spindle attaches to them and the process of mitosis and meiosis begins!

The analogy: TravelersFirst of all, this is kind of a stretch! :) ... Centrioles are in a cell to help the cell divide and make a new cell. Travelers do the same thing. The more flights they take and places they go, the higher the need is for more airports!
